Descripción del libro LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE

I love Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng.

Perhaps my favorite novel I have read this year' John Green, author of The Fault in Our Stars'To say I love this book is an understatement.

It is a profound psychological mystery about the power of motherhood, the intensity of adolescent love and the danger of perfection.

Reese WitherspoonThe brilliant new novel by the author of the New York Times bestseller, Everything I Never Told You.

Everyone in Shaker Heights was talking about it that summer: how Isabelle, the last of the Richardson children, had finally gone crazy and burned down the house.

In Shaker Heights, a placid and progressive suburb of Cleveland, everything is meticulously planned - from the layout of the winding roads, to the colors of the houses, to the successful lives that its residents will continue to lead.

And no one embodies this spirit more than Elena Richardson, whose guiding principle is the game of rules:

Mia Warren - an enigmatic artist and single mother - who arrives in this idyllic bubble with her teenage daughter Pearl and rents a house from the Richardsons.

Soon Mia and Pearl become more than just tenants: Richardson's four sons are attracted to the attractive mother-daughter couple.

When Richardson's friends try to adopt a Chinese American baby, a custody battle breaks out that dramatically divides the city and puts Mia and Mrs. Richardson on opposite sides.

Suspecting Mia and her motives, Ms. Richardson is determined to uncover the secrets of Mia's past.

But his obsession will come at an unexpected and devastating cost to his own family and Mia's family.

Little Fires Everywhere explores the weight of long-standing secrets and the fierce attraction of motherhood, and the danger of believing that planning and following the rules can prevent disaster or distress.
